What's wrong with this picture? At a time when our government officials are in need for greater accountability, it appears that the Republicans in Warren County are going in the absolute wrong direction, now pushing to abolish term limits in the City of Glens Falls.

To a great degree, it seems like the Republicans are endlessly aiming to make Glens Falls, the only town in the Warren County with some signs of two-party activity, just like the rest of Warren County and the North Country, where a system of patronage and one-party elections dominate the political scene. If anything, term limits should be applied to the rest of Warren County, as well as Saratoga, Hamilton, Washington, and Essex Counties where currently most rural Republicans often hold office for years (sometimes decades) without being contested or facing viable opposition.
