Congresswoman Kirsten Gillibrand (D - Greenport) will be hosting an upcoming summit on August 14th in Saratoga Springs to discuss business and economic growth issues throughout our region. The summit will primarily be devoted to the upcoming development of the AMD chip plant at the Luther Forest Technology Park in Malta.

"SARATOGA SPRINGS -- U.S. Rep. Kirsten Gillibrand will host an economic summit in Saratoga Springs in August that will involve local businesses, corporations, economic development officials and community leaders in an effort to create a plan for economic opportunities and smart growth."

"Among those expected to participate in the August 14 summit are representatives from AMD, which is planning to build a large chip manufacturing plant in the Luther Forest technical park in Malta/Stillwater."
