The 2006 National Journal liberal/conservative scores and the congress.org power rankings were just released last week.

According to National Journal, Republican Tom Reynolds ranks as the state's most conservative congressional representative with a conservative score of 66.8. In addition, Reynolds was also ranked the least powerful representative in the New York delegation with a power score of 8.28 (by comparison, the state average is 19.60).

How on earth did this man survive "Foleygate"?

Yeah, it is a bummer that Reynolds hung on, but at least he can't do much damage with that little power.  The GREAT news is how Arcuri is zooming up the ranks after grabbing that former-red seat.  Here is how it looks, straight from our "Volunteers for Arcuri" list serve post:

Arcuri is ranked:

    * 165th among all Representatives in the 110th Congress (of 435 total members of Congress)
    * 15th in the New York Delegation (of 29 New York House members)
    * 3rd in the Freshman class (of 42 freshman House members)

Way to go, Mike!
